i meant both, i thought that getting a 347 stroker would be enough and better than an assembled 347. i know i want an assembled 347 after i got slapped by a ls1 on sunday. but i dont know where to start, what's the true cost to building a 347 with decent parts? the full list of parts that are needed? im willing to do all the labor myself as long as i dont have to drill anything or take parts to a shop to get them machined, you know stuff like that.

you could have a nicely modded 03/04 cobra for that much.

after paint i will be just shy of $3500.... including buying the car.

I bought the car in October and I'm up to $2,300... but I'm fixing a wreck.

New front cobra bumper, new headlights, new RH fender, new hood, new front reinforcment bar, new styrofome for that, new bulbs, new cobra foglights, bulbs for them, new FRPP alum. driveshaft, then... brakes, drilled and slotted rotors, ceramic pads, EVERYthing is new on the rear brakes (that was $400 by its self), flowmaster catback and a bbk h-pipe, windows tinted to 15%... I constantly have around $100 in parts coming for it.

I plan on saving up around 3k for a 347 stroker short block... then spend tons of money building it and swaping it. I'll be around the 20k mark within the next 2 years.

Well bought the car practically new for 12000. Ive put roughly 15000 in drivetrain over the years. At least 5000 in suspension. About a grand on the brake system. Interior has gotten a few hundred on misc. stuff.... Audio system gotten about 3000. But all together i would say around 40000 includ. the car. NOT INCLUDING ALL THE TICKETS!!!
