No specifics, but.....

Car review on SALEEN MUSTANG SSC
Steve Saleen modified his own racing Mustang in 1984 and soon became respected. That same year he produced three modified road Mustangs for buyers, then in 1985 modified and sold 139 hatchbacks and two convertibles. The following year sales grew, and on the strength of this, Saleen formed a racing team. By 1989 the race and road experience had led to the production of the SSC (Saleen Super Car). This was based on the 5.0L LX, and Saleen modified the suspension by adding stiffer springs and adjustable shocks, and upgraded the chassis by fitting a strut brace and four-point roll cage. A special Saleen leather interior and bodykit were also added. In the drive train the standard 5.0L had reworked heads, a larger throttle body, upgraded cam and bigger exhaust. The stock T5 transmission stayed, but the axle gears were swapped for 3.55:1 ratio, plus rear discs were fitted.
