My girlfriend just bought a "89 LX hatch and DOES NOT like the 5-Speed. We are now looking for a good AOD trans for a 5.0. Our 5-Speed needs to be rebuilt. Is anyone looking to swap that lives in the Middle GA area? Thank you

i have a 1990 aod out of my gt, it has a Performance Automatics valve body and a tci sat. nite special converter. i changed to a 5 speed.the only thing wrong with it that when it shifts from 1st to 2nd it sounds like the band slips on the drum or something.probably would need gone thru. i got $195.00 in the valve body and $250.00 in the converter.id take $350 for all of it. im in tn
