quick thermostat ?

Default quick thermostat ?
Is the stock thermostat 180 or 190?

160 I believe on an 88
wrong wrong and completely incorrect... stock T-stat is 195° you should replace it with a 180-185.. NEVER go as low as a 160° stat, it will cause running issues because your car will constantly be switching back and fourth to its cold enrichment tables

thanks guys, yeah i went with the 160 but i think i will try going back to normal or 180-185.

I have a 180* in mine, but I have an electric fan on a toggle switch. I leave the fan off 90% of the time, it rus about 195* mostly.(with fan off)

unless your force inductedthen you have them lower your enrichment tables... roomates car has a 160 and still gets to hot in the summer
