Hi all, I just installed a 306 in my 95 and it will not idle when it is warm. I have a stock intake, 19lbs injectors, b303, 10.1:1, headers, off-road h-pipe. Also when I am driving the car and I give it a very small amount of throttle it misses. Any ideas?

 

sounds like an ignition problem.....u might wanna run the car at night with hood open and watch for sparks to the headers or block. u might need to replace a wire.

 

I replaced the wires on sat. because I had a wire that was cut. I do have a MSD Coil now but that should not hurt the car.

 

maybe MAI....somebody chime in and help me out here. ur best bet is to search the forums for a post with similiar issues...

See if you can get Adder to post since he knows a lot about the SN's, but my guess would be the computer doesn't like the B cam.

 

1995 hates mods, however check your timing and firing order, you can have the timing too low and or the plug wires crossed

 

the 95 comp will take a b cam fine my friend has been runnin it for monthes now and it runs great

ur prob is that intake, its not sucking in enough air it would be like puttin a 600 cfm carb on a boss 429, its chokin the motor get a new intake injectors and maf sensor and u will c ur probs disapear

at least that works with carb motors
