no because anything after a certain month in 88 was sold as an 89, which is what he probably has which is why he doesnt have 140mph. well i know that for a fact with speed density, i thought all of the 89s had the 140, so id be lieing it i told you when they started the 140.

yeah minean 89'and hasspeed density and i have the 85 speedo too..(mine doesnt work ..i use gps for now) but on the vin it wouldtranslatea 2.3L ...its defa 5.0.....hmmmmm

it was probably an original 4 cyl, converted to an 8.
