I am interested in buying a 93 LX hatch with 91,000 the car is black with a ram air hood. The car hasn't been registered in 4 years. The guy said it needs a new smog pump. Can someone tell mehowmuch $ the pump goes forand how complicated of a job it will be to replace it?

 

just remove the pulley and re-route the belt.

 

if you dont need to pass smog, just get rid of it. if you do have to pass smog, its a very easy swap to do. smog pumps are cheap at the junkyard.

 

delete the smog pump clean up your engine bay a lil

 

If you dont need it than just remove it and run a shorter belt. If you need it like posted above just get one from the junkyard for prob $10 bucks. Its about a 20 mintue swap.
