Default afr's or complete explorer

i know this is an dumb question but i have a problem. afr 165s or a complete explorer motor? i have a 95 with 150000 and i was wanting to get the motor out of the explorer and rebuild it so i can then put it into the stang. not to mention the heads and intake. the motor will have the gt40p heads and i was planning on porting them and having a trickflow cam and then go from there. i am not looking for high numbers right now this is my daily driver and i want to keep it that way until i can get me a truck. my question is that would it be worth it to sell the gt40 heads and then save for the afr's. not really familar with them so how my better will they flow than ported gt40ps? and would i need bigger injectors? just a thought i will probably just go with the explorer motor but wanted to see what everyone would think. thanks for all the help

yeah i am going to stay with the explorer motor. do anyone want any afr 165 with vavle job and 1.7 rockers?
