performance meter...
I saw on ebay a G tech performance meter. It tells 0-60 and 1/4 mile and hp/TQ, rpms, shift light ect. Do they work, I seen other people that have them. Are they any good, are they accurate?they look neat.

From everything I've seen the 0-60 & 1/4 times are very accurate as long as its mounted properly and your on a flat road. The HP & toque readings require you to have an accurate weight of your car. They perform their purpose and are good for those that want to compare mods that don't have a track close by - but don't take what it reads out as gospel either.

I agree, but the cool thing about those, is you can use them over and over and only purchase it once.
With a dyno run, you have to pay every time you go. that's gets $$$$ if your doing alot of modding and changes.
I would however get a true dyno run for a base line to compare the GTECH pro against.
Like MD said, it shouldn't be taken for gospel, just used to guage what the effects are of your mods.
If you can afford it, got it. You'll love it.

i say get it. and if i were you i wouldnt buy it to know the exact HP/TQ. but the change in HP/TQ after modding is what you want to know, thats worth the money right there. knowing what your mods are doing eh?
