Help (351w Problems)

RE: Help (351w Problems)
So you have spark and compression, are you getting any fuel? You said it has cold air induction so I'm guessing it's fuel injected. If there is smoke coming out of the intake side then I would also guess an intake valve is not seating or you have the rocker adjusted to tight allowing the compresson to leak out of the cylinder.

I changed the Dist. 180. still the same. Also, as i backed off the screws on the rockers it spent over like it trying to crank more, but just won't crank. This is the first time i have ever encountered this problem. I also chcked the Oillevel and it's fine.

It would be best to go through the dead timing of number one again.
4 things are needed to make an engine run.
Spark
Fuel
Compression
and if all of these 3 are there, you just have to get things to happen in the correct Timing or order.
You have confirmed that you have
Fuel
Compression
Spark
The only part of the equation left to work out is the timing of all these events.
Where did you get the cam in the 351w?
Is the firing order of the cam the same as the firing order you used at the dist?
It sounds like your valve timing is off, as that will cause combustion gasses to leave the intake.
Double check your cam timing and ignition timing.
