Default HUGE PROBLEM HELP!!

ok im so pissed right now i was installing my new water pump on my 91 and i broke a peiece of the time cover off when tightening the water pump bolt. when i added new antifreeze its leeking all over now. im guessing i need a new timing cover? and does the oil pan habe to come off to do this?

No, you can take the timing cover off without taking the oil pan off. You can try using some quik steel, or JB weld to patch that timing cover, if that doesnt work then you are looking at gtting a new one.

JB weld should work, just don't use too much and make sure the area is clean before applying. Also make sure the area you are working at is at least sixty degrees, if not use a drop light next to the repair to cure the JB weld.....det45

+1 no need to remove the oil pan, just the fan/radiator, belt, balancer, and any accessories in the way. Not hard, just time consuming
