will my rear end handle 3000 launch with say 400-450 hp with street slicks?

aod will if built right with the right suspension

ummm id say no ive seen to many people get towed home from track with broken rearends. Slicks + stock rearend = NO. Im not saying it will break on first run but it will eventually. Plus 31 or 33 spline axles arent that $$$ so there a worthy upgrade.

Stormin norman used an 8.8 all in to the 8's in the 1/4. Granted his was built up. Youll probably want to get axles, maybe a better center section (carrier), 31 splines, and c-clip eliminators.
