Default T-5 Rebuild

Other thana dial indicator are there any other "special" tools "needed" for a T-5 rebuild. Planning on doing mine before spring and want to have the right tools ahead of time. Who makes the best rebuild kits? Do they come with syncros?

Thanks

I have in the past, but with shipping, parts kit, and labor the price begins to reach $1000.00.

+1 for 94GTcoupe....i was ganna have him do mine....but he ran out of time, but if u hit him up now i think hes gonna have some time. and he would not charge u anything close to a grand. o yea, i threw in the towel because trannys are crazy....and as soon as u split it u relize why people go to school to learn that kinda thing.

well it seems to be that i'm the prefered tranny guy around here ... pizza is right i wouldn't charge any where close to a grand... i charge 100 labor (never gunna find anyone cheaper) parts are 210 (unless u need hard parts) and shipping is usualy 50-75 one way... the total usualy comes to about 400-500... and the 100$ labor is my MF member discount...

tools: rool pin punch
hammer
dial indicator
basic socket/ ratchet
pliers
and a T50 torques bit
a friends to help hold the case still is nice the first few times you do one

pizza u puss giving up[:'(]... wheres ur sence of adventure? if i gave up and didn't learn about trannys we would all be screwedwe would have to rely on dime for tranny info[&:]we all know he doesn't know anything j/k dime
