well my speedo finaly stopped working and i have no idea where the speedo cable is located. odometer isnt workin because of this too...[:@]

 

Runs from the tranny to the back of the speedo in the dash

 

pretty much....just don't forget the two screws up near the windsheild..get a snubber screwdriver..you got a 85 speedo?...the first time i hit a back road i broke my cable/needle...swapped it for a 90 gt 140 speedo

 

Double check if the gear is still on the speed sensor. Mine fell off last week and the speedometer/odometer didnt work.

 

is that behind the speedo?

 

no tranny...and believe it or not,i thought i had mine in and ended up chewing it up

 

Theres an 11 mm bolt holding the speed sensor in the tranny. Remove the clip and pull the sensor out and see if theres a plastic gear on it.
