Clutch chatter...?

Clutch chatter...?
I jus installed a new king cobra clutch, steeda tri-ax shifter, an new flywheel and seem to have a clutch chatter thats sumtimes pretty bad an other times its fine....Why could this be?

some clutches are designed to engage pretty harshly. If you got a race clutch, this may be the case. The only other reason for the chatter would be: incorrect installation (somehow) or a warped flywheel. I suppose the pressure plate or clutch can have a defect as well. If the dowel pins were installed incorrectly, this may cause severe chatter. Taking the transmission out isnt the most fun job, especially if you dont have a lift and one of the WORST jobs if you have full length headders, but it may be your only option if it is to severe. If everything looks ok, it may just be how that clutch is supposed to engage.

I have the same problem with my spec stage 2 i just installed. I have broken it in but it still chatters. Is the chattering ruining my new clutch? I think I am going to buy a new spec billet steel flywheel for it. What do you think?
