how to check if a CEL is bad
my CEL flashes randomly.. usually happens if the car has been running at 2000+ rpm's (like on the highway or if its a 55mph zone ill cruise in 3rd at 2200)
i scan it for codes and it gives me the same codes it gave me before and the CEL never flashed. 44 and 94.. AIR THERMACTOR SYSTEM INOP
ive talked to people and the ECU just bypasses that stuff automaticaly.. the light should either be on all the time or not on at all.. this flashing crap makes me think that the CEL is just plain bad.
my car is actually running perfect right now (knock on wood).. it only flashed about 3 times on the way home.. continuously. like it wont flash then stop for 10 minutes and come back. once it flashes it will flash about 3-4 times and just not come back on again.
its just really annoying
