you could also look at the model number on the side of the trans

what does it mean on number -204 where it says under source 'service' it says the t-5 is rated for 300ft/lbs instead of 265ft/lbs.. does that mean it was in a ssp mustang?

Its cuz your car is slow, sorry but the truth hurts. When racing you Id probably have to let off the gas so you could catch up
-P.
So you got any timeslips to prove yourself with?
I havent run my car down the 1/4 in well over 10 years. Once I set it up for corners and top speed (hence 3.27 gears), its kinda pointless, even with slicks its breaks em loose.
Last time I ran it - 2.73 gears, stock cat back, dual plane intake and a 600 vacuum secondary carb, I was runnin 13.8/13.9 at 98-102mph. Id imagine now, I'd be down well below that. Drag racing kinda sux, IMO, the faster you go the less you race. And, IMO, going in a straight line takes absolutly NO driving skill.
-P.
PS: My trannies blow because the torque multiplication goes on in the trans rather than the rearend and the heat produced at high speeds.
Good drag racing takes a good amount of kill. RT, launching, shifting, etc. all has to come together perfect. Unlike racing on a track, one mistake in a drag race and its over, there's no time to make up ground. You have several seconds to do everything perfect and one mistake is too many...
Youre right, there is some skill, well its more timing actually. At least thats been my experience Where as in road racing you have to know your cars characteristics inside and out. Also, more power doesnt guarantee a winner, as it usually does in drag racing. Sometimes it can even be a detriment. Not to mention the skills you learn from road racing have a real world benefit. What benefit does drag racing give?

Actually, Ive known it was a WC[8D]. I was referring to the SVO wc. I have the service manual. Its more fun to argue with adder and 94GT[8D]. They get their panties in a bunch.
But for all of you that might be interested ESPECIALLY YOU ADDER heres a link for the TCC T-5 Service manual
