i ve got 3.55's and i like them~what are your plans for the car, DD, weekend, race, and what kind of power do you plan on making?~~ i heard that f-150's had 3.55s in them from the factory if thats truejust go to the junk yard and get they whole deal from one

i've only got basic mods/ 210whp and i like mine fine. they'll still make a big dif and they be better for when you have 350whp,

yea nothing wrong w/ that it'll just be harder to hook up. but it's not like you'll bog out w/ the 3.55's w/ that kinda powa it'll just be alittle more well rounded/ street friendly gear IMO

im prob barely gonna see track time so so hooking up isnt gonna to big of an issue but i want a good gear to use cause im building a 331 stroker

why not a 347 stroker??? thats what i am doing and i am going with some 4.10 gears and some 12" sliks.

I also have an '89 5-speed. I went with the 3.73's, no regrets. I'm turning 2400 at 70 in 5th. (stock 15" turbines, soon to change). Still gets about 19-20mpg on the highway.
