Default TrickFlow on a stock SD engine???

ok, i was putting on a new starter on my 87 GT today. and i noticed that there is an oil leak coming from the valve covers. so i gotta take the intake off to put in new gaskets down there. anyways, i was wondering if i could put on a trickflow track heat intake manifold on my engine w/o changing heads and it not affect anything too much. i just heard the stock intake restricts the airflow, so i figure that i could change it. keep in mind that i'm about to throw a procharger P-1SC on it and i'm going to put on 30# injectors to support that. i really dont want to change to MAF if i don't have to. i know i can run the blower on SD. if it would be better to run the blower on the stock intake and SD, then i will. otherwise i'll put the trickflow on it, unless there's a better intake out there. i don't know the real differences between the street heat, track heat or R. Or is the FRPP cobra intake better.

looking for some advice here, but don't tell me about switching to MAF.

The Trick Flow Track Heat is a good intake manifold, the street heat is below it, and the the R series is above it. Since your putting a procharger on your car, it is a good idea to put an intake manifold on it. You are correct the stock one is very restrictive, and the more you let the engine flow, the more power the procharger will make. It will fit fine with the stock heads.

ok, what about the FRPP cobra intake. is it no good??? or is trickflow better???
also, which trickflow would yall recommend??? how much of a power difference is there between the R series and the track heat???
Should i worry about the throttle body right now, or more down the road when i get the procharger???

with the injectors, will i just need to get the computer worked on so it will recognize them???

if there is a better manifold out there, let me know. i just want something that will add more power, but not kill my pocketbook. i just hear good things about trickflow

cobra intake is just like stock just designed a bit different for more flow but deff not worth $300-$500 for a new one

ur stock intake is good up to 300hp

Take the intake off for a valve cover leak?

the r is for high rpm power. I have the track heat and it is even high RPM, with 4.10's it isnt too sluggish in low rpms, but w/out gears it would probably be a dog. My tq peaks at 4300 RPM and HP is at 5700 If that gives you an idea.
