Default 1500 dollars to spend...need advice

Ok well I just got my stang about a month ago. Its not that fast but only because the 2nd gear snchro is messed up and I think the whole transmission is screwing up. Well, I got a 1000 now and im gonna have about 1500 in a month. I was wondering if that's enough to get the problem fixed with a street/strip application including a new clutch, maybe an aluminum driveshaft but I don't know if it's worth the 200+ dollars. With this is mind I also need to find someone to do the labor for me so add that in too. Just need some advice so I know how much to save and so I'm not wasting my money. Thankyou

Matt

No, I'll only have 1500. I'm debating whether to get it rebuilt or just buy a new one. I was wondering what I can do within the next month because I have to quite my job in mid November and then start back in March. So I'll probably have 2500 next May or so but that's gonna be a long wait.

Yeah i was thinking a little cheaper than that. What do you guys think about the "Ford Super Duty T-5" on jegs, Super duty t-5 and rebuild kit. Does anyone have experience with these or the rebuild kits? I know I got the World Class T-5 stock so is this the same thing? OK Well I think I'll call around sometime this weekend and find out how much it cost to get my tranny rebuilt along with gettin the other performance parts installed (King Cobra clutch, possibly aluminum driveshaft??).

you should do the work by your self, and the light driveshaft really makes a difference..... mustangs are poorly balanced as it is
