Alrighty thanks for your help joel, one more quick question, if the tfi replacement doesnt work, could i advance my timing to say 14* if theres no ping, and run her without a spout connector?
Yep.....but you could also set it to 34° - 36° or less and leave the SPOUT off, while you get it fixed ....the only problem it would cause is for warm engine cranking . FYI...... there are a few setups that simply lock total timing without any problems.....this takes the spark control from the ECM out of the picture.

oh before the h pipe, well considering its currently snowing, and almost negitave in temp outside, i doubt today would be the day to do it. However I will still go get the tfi module and have the shop install it for me. I would do it however i dont have the tool required and im sure they do.
if i remember correctly.. the "tool required" is like a 7mm or maybe 1/4" socket....

that depends on the load the engine is under and the RPM that you are currently at

well i guess if i can never solve the problem, i will just disconnect the spout and run her at 30*. How will that effect the lower rpm ranges tho adder?

i already do lol, thats the other thread i was going to make. The problem just occured. Its about -5 outside, and whenever i start it, i have to give it some gas and she will stall if i dont continue to give it gas, and let it warm up abit. I found the solution to be to start it and then drive it kinda hard for awhile, not like above 3k hard, but like putting my foot on it.

that sounds like your having ISC motor issues... I know mine froze up on me one night, my car kept stalling out in the morning, but it hasnt done it since

this was also the night after i washed my motor... i guess i shouldnt was the engine in 5° weather
