Default Quick Dizzy Question?

ok, i just got off the phone with my paint and body guy. he hauls off junk cars on the side to make a little extra money. but anyways, he just got a 85 mustang lx 5.0. well he is giving me anything i want off of it before he trys to sell the shell of the car cause i guess it is in good shape body wise but the tranny is blown and the int. is junk. it's got a 8.8 with 4.10 gears and a locker wich he is giving to me... and it also has long tube headers not sure if it's got a x or h or straight pipes off of it but i get the headers too.. it also has a msd 6a ignition and a msd distributor wich i can have too if i want them and i am deffanitly gonna take the msd box...... my question is would the msd dizzy work on my 86 with FI while this car has a carb. my guess is no but i just want to make sure before i say no i dont want it.
