Default oil pan

i am putting a 5.0 in my mustang that came out of a crown vic. will that oil pan fit around the crossmember or not. and the car was originally a v6 and im using the same t-5 tranny will the bellhousing bolt up or will i need another one?

the bellhousing will bolt up, not sure about the oil pan. Is it a dual sump?

i think most H.O.s use dual sumps, pretty sure it should would i believe the pan is the same

ya it is a dual sump. i just dont want to try squeezing everything back in and have it not fit correctly

Well i think the pan should fit, id think someone will chime in and let you now, if not do a little search somewhere, or compare pics of the 2
