Default Where to purchase a complete V8 swap

Hey everyone,

I'm picking up a '92 Mustang LX (4 cylinder) tomorrow and I plan on swapping at least a 302 in the next month or so.
Where should I go to order a complete longblock w/ transmission without worrying about the quality? Would it be best to go carburated and do away with my EFI system?

your looking at alot of work to get the computer wired in, so yah, carb'ed would be easier. its all preference, really. but as far as finding an entire driveline all in one, good luck. find a 302 block, WC T5, and a 8.8" rear, and go from there.

Is there a reputable place that sells 302 w/o transmissions? If I find a good 302 EFI can I convert it to a carburated setup by swapping the intake manifold and adding a carb?

Sorry for the noob questions; I'm brand new to the domestic scene.. I've always owned and maintained various Acuras

yah, thats all you need to do. the ECU only retrieves intake signals and temp signals, and sends fuel pulses in return.
