Default Need some help...

I will be replacing my 1995 Cobra's power steering pump this weekend and need some help on how to do it. If anyone out there can offer up some knowledge or a link on how to do this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Never did it myself, but I imagine a Haynes or Chilton must have some info. Either way, I'll give this a bump for ya.

[*]Disconnect return hose from power steering pump reservoir and allow fluid to drain into suitable container.[*]Disconnect pressure hose from power steering pump fitting, then remove pump mounting bracket and disconnect drive belt from pulley.[*]Remove belt from pulley, then pulley.[*]Remove power steering pump.[*]Reverse procedure to install. NOTE: Endplay of pressure hose to pump fitting is normal and does not indicate a loose fitting. Do not overtighten. [/ol]
Hope this helps.

I have a Hayne's and it's worthless on this subject. Good information "Automotion". Do you know how to drain the rest of the fluid in the power steering unit (hoses, etc..)? Sounds like all and all the replacment should be plug and play.

other experiences welcome...
