Default Stroker

Ok say I buy a completly stock foxbody, with just flows (i know i just contradicated myself). I have 3 months to put all my money into with no other expenses cause I wont register it till spring. Im buying full exhaust first. Do you think I should stock pile heads, clutch, balancer,TB, mass air, flywheel, then stroke the motor and put all the parts the get an FTI cam? Instead of putting everything on then having to take it all off to get it stroked, is there any other major things I'll need. Thanks P.S. I've heard that 347 stroker motors have a VERY short life span, is this true?

Coast High Performance has fixed the oil consumption of the 347 by relocating the wristpin hole. According to CHP, their 347 will last just as long as a 331. The owner said they still offer the 331's for people still gunshy of the 347. Personally I would wait and do all the hardcore engine mods at the same, that way you can go get a one time custom tune.

That all depends on your driving style. IMO, 331 is the only way to go when building a stroker 302.
