Does anyone know any good COMPLETE rebuild guides or kits for a 87-93 5.0L? and does anyone know how much I can plan on spending to rebuild my engine doing all the labor myself? thanks

just look at jegs and summit and all those places and you'll find a nice kit. for the kit expect anywhere for a stock rebuild 300 to 500 if you do it yourself. and then any other parts allow yourself a total plus the kit around 1k just so you dont short yourself, worst case you dont spend that much and you have more money for parts. otherwise if your trying to get crazy with upgrades it can be pretty expensive. this is all if you do it yourself, if your going to a place expect thousands! like 3 to 4 k

i spent about 750 on parts to rebuild my 91 5.0
got a summit rebuilt kit with forged pistons, new cam and lifters. water pump and all sensors and stuff. Oh and new set of injectors.
