+1 on the custom grind. Comp will make a custom grind for you too, just call them and ask and they send you a form. They cost more money though. You dont always need a custom grind however.

My mothers, sisters, brothersthird cousintwice removed told me that this guy told him that I need a big lopey cam, cuz big lopeycams are cool. He said that bigger cams make alot more power, so I'm gonna get me the biggest cam I can and have the fastest stock 5.0 in the world.

Lots of duration isn't really going to hurt you. Its lots of lift that will, tons of lift is going to give you less port velocity and thus less low RPM torque.
...... ...check this comparison by lift and working rpm range.....

Comp. Cams 260HR
260°/260° Adv. Dur. 206°/206° Dir. @.050" .533"/.533" lift, LSA= 110° --1,200 – 4,500 rpms Working range

Crower 15515

300°/
310° Adv. Dur. 236°/242° Dir. @.050" .524"/.529" lift, LSA= 110° --3,000 – 8,000 rpms Working range

LSA is the same, working range is totally different one from the other, and the "torque" cam (260HR) has more lift than the "drag" cam......what's different?.....
