k so the goal this winter was to make a safe street/strip car. i'm ordering 31 spline axles w/auburn, 5 bolt all around, lakewood control arms, drive shaft loop, snubber, diff. cover with adjusters,...but now i'm seein the bottom of the hole. i have a stock straight stick with hurst shifter on it...I'm worried the tranny isn't going to last very long at the track andi can't afford to break it being its my daily driver...given i'll be trailoring it to the track and back but not with my truck. so what are my options...and what are some good racing trannies...ugh i'm never going to pay off my loan

and 3.73 gears and slicks

well your going to going to get a few different arguments here, I recently put in my tko 600 and couldnt be happier with it, I know it'll take anything I can give it which my t-5 wouldnt, but thats where the argument comes in.
