Need some opinions... Right now I've got some 3.73's waiting to be installed in the spring. With a new h/c/i I'm sure these will be great, but down the road the next step (after suspension) is going to be a stroker or, more likely, a 351. Given the big increase in power, anyone think it would be wise to try and switch them for some 3.55's? Or maybe the difference wouldn't even be worth the effort. Opinions?

If you swap out your 3.73s for 3.55s, I'll personally come find you, key your paint, and slash your tires.

In other words, don't waste your time or money. You'll be fine with 3.73s.

haha funny ****... his a detictive too so i bet he could find u some how[8D]....

his rite tho its not worth it... i will get 3.55 if i get a kb ill get 3.73 if i get a centrificgal s/c... mainly thats traction reasons.... but if u already have then them dont bother... u probaly wouldnt even notice teh different unless u just had a ton of torque on the motor... which i dont think ull have a ton... ull have a good amount but not too much.... if u really are worried about it then drop down the the 3.27... i think that would kind be dumb too.... my opinion is that since u have the 3.73 put htem in and enjoy them

I've got 430 RWHP with 3.73s. No problems at all... well, there is the problem where i keep bouncing it off the rev limiter in 1st when I get on it too hard (and if I leave it in D to shift itself.) But that's what the ratchet shifter is for. That and I have a Tweecer RT on the way that will let me change the shift points anyway

Now where the F is that thing? I ordered it on Feb 1st! LoL.

Well if you go to tweecer.com, there's a list of distributors that sell them (since you can't buy them directly through tweecer anymore.) I think that you can only get them from the guys on that list, or from someone they sell to. So for now I'll just say that it's someone on that list

But the guy was helpful and nice when I talked to him a few weeks ago, lol. So I don't want to say who the company is to give them a bad rep until a little more time passes. It could be a USPS or UPS issue or osmething, and we did have that bout of bad weather. But if nothing comes by the end of the month then I'll give the info, lol.

Personally I'd go with 3.55s, I think in most cases they are enough gear and a better street gear.
