setup advice
I am planning on doing alot of upgrades durring the spring and i was looking for some advice on what parts to go with. The car currently has a vortech SC trim supercharger on it, 1.7 roller rockers, mac headers, H pipe, gears, subframes, electric fan, and a few other things. Im going to be adding a trick flow street heat top end kit, 255lph fuel pump, throttle body, larger injectors, mass air meter, and a pulley to bring the boost up to around 8 puounds and i have a few questions.
1.what size MAF/injectors do you suggest?
2.what size TB?
3.will all this be ok with the stock ignition or should i upgrade to MSD?
4.should i install head studs instead of bolts? i dont know if they are needed since i will only be running around 8lbs of boost
5. what kind of power do you expect this combo to make? i know you guys get this question all the time
I am trying to make sure that i have everything done before i get it tuned
thanks in advance for any advice

RE: setup advice
80/75mm MAF 30# injectors should be fine. 70mm TB, You can get away with stock ignition but an upgrade is always good. THe ket comes with ARP bolts, but running boost you might want to ask if you can get it with studs. You could probably see anywhere from 400-450RWHP.

+1... That should be good... I run 10lbs of boost with only 30lb injectors, with 75mm mass air and am adding a 70mm throttle body... MSD or Crane Hi-6 ignition is a good choice...Its not required, but its security... A good ignition system is cheap insurance... 8lbs of boost should be good since its not intercooled on a stock motor... Just check your plugs, make sure you are getting plenty of fuel...

RE: setup advice
Are you running all this on stock block? Just as a warning you probably won't see much more than 10 thousand miles out of it running 450 rwhp, if your lucky it will only fry your rings. As far as the ignition quesiton goes, stock ignition works plenty good enough, aftermarket ignitions are really a big waste of money since they are proven to give pretty much no power gains. Injectors you will need 42lbs, and the lightning 90mm mass air is a good MAF for supercharged cars.

RE: setup advice
Yes this is on the stock block, i didnt think i would see much over 400rwhp. I might just stick with the stock 5lb pulleyand if the numbers are not where i want them ill put the 8lb pulley on
