Default I want to take my cats off

I live in illinois. I am hearing rumors that the vehicle cutoff date for emissions testing has been moved to 1995 and older. Anyone hear of this? I have high flow cats on right now, so will it make much of a difference?

I say it would make a dirrerence. Buy an off road h pipe and keep your cat h pipe. If you ever have any problems with inspection or something put the cat pipe on temporaily. I thought the cutoff date is in the 80s someware.

Usually every state is different w/ their emissions laws. Anway, buy an O/R H/X pipe and just keep your catted pipe. IF you have to take your car through inspection throw the catted pipe on there and be done w/ it.
