Default need help with idle

hello all, I just bought a 89 gt I did the normal tune up and used only the best. I am having some trouble with the car, I think I will only ask one question a a time. My car almost lopes is that factory or what, I do not think that is is because it only does it somethimes. I already used b12 to check for vac leaks and did not find any. Being that I am new to the mustang world I thought that you guys might be able to send me in the right direction.

thanks.

if your were woundering the car is a 89 Gt convertable white ext with a white black and red int. AOD, and for now and completely stock.

none of those will likely cause a lope (skip in this case), look into igntion - like plugs, wires, cap, rotor most likely

recommend you clean the throttle body butterfly and interior housing with some good carb cleaner and also clean the Idle Air Control (IAC) mounted on the side of the throttle body also. the IAC is responsible for controlling the idle and they can get dirty and clogged up messing up the idle.
