My 93 Vert GT backfires on occasion at hard throttles especially when the engine is cold.It sometimes feels as if it gets stumbled on something as I try to accelerate the car fast. i don't know the last time it's ahd a tune up. Where could I start to check for any problems?

Sounds like you have a miss under load to me, could be wrong, just a suggestion.Check the plugsand see if they are burned or scorned.Since you cant remember last time you had a tune up, I would spend the few dollars and get cap/rotor/wires.. etc...since your car probably needs it anyway. It may solve your problem. just my .02$
