Hey guys got a question can you use a 225 60 16 tire on a stock rim 1993 5.o Lx with 225 50 16 and waht type of tranny fluid does most use with a 5 speed

you can but youre speedo will be off. you want 225/55/16.. or run the 225/50/16's in the front and put 255/50/16's in the back.

with 255/50/16's it wont be off.. with 225/50/16s i would say it would read about 5mph too fast.. and with the 225/60/16's it will read about 5mph slow. 225/55/16's will look stock... and.. with the 355/50/16's in the rear and the 225/50/16's in the front it will have a really nice look to it. thats what i plan on running for tire sizes on my new ponies.

he meant 255/50/16... and I would personally recommend 245/50/16, as you will have more of a selection

thanks adder, i did mean 255/50/16. And thats true,there is more selection of tires for a 245/50/16.... but, mickey thompson doesnt make a ET street drag radial in 245/50/16... only 255/50/16 wich is what i am planning on running.
