for those that have bien with me... or not.... i got wd40 to see if i can find the intake leake spryed on throttle body egr and the intake i got the same resaults..... not sure wat the whistle can be???... i got a video for those that want to hear it..... but on a diffrent note the intake is great pwer kicks in alittle later in the rpm but it pulls through out the rpm range..... now i need to get rid of the Ecam for a high Rev one!!!!

FIrst time i've hear your story. What kniodf TB do you have ? The bbk TB's do produce a whistle. Does it sound more like vacuuml leak ?

holy lord that is loud. You have a smog pump ? It kindof sounds like a bad bearing somewhere.

yea i have a smog pump... a bearing?

the whistle actually hurts your ear..... but above 1200 rpm its gone. if its not one thing its another with this car.... but it runs good. the whistle is just annoying

Sounds more like a metal on metal noise than a whistle.

I'd think it is your smog pump....

Try this.....take of your serpentine belt, route a string aourd everything but bypass the smog pump. Measuer the string, take it to autozone / advance auto and buy a new belt, get a few to be sure you get one that fits. Pop it on and dont run it around the smog pump. Start the car and see if the noise still exists. You can always take the belts back too. If it is the smog pump makin the noise, take it off ( if you dont need it for emmisions ) or worst case would be to get a new one, i think they are around 140 bones.
