Default Ordered kill switch, says to wire it to IAC valve ?

Theres a guy that sells these neat little insulated switcheson E bay for 10 bucksso . The directions say to wire it into the blue & white wire a couple inches from the connecter to the IAC{Idle Air Control} valve ??
I did a Google & found nothing about this location for kill switches, then Emailed the seller & he said it's his " invention " & I wouldnt find anything on the web aboutthis location , LOL
Anyways, what do you guys think, any drawbacks from trying this location , will it even work I wonder?
thanks,
Scali

I don't know which wire you would connect it too but i think it would work somewhat...... if the IAC isn't working i would think the car would still start if you pushed on the throttle. all that would do is make it not want to start/idle on it's own.

The car will run fine without the IAC, just probably idle low when cold. I unplugged mine for a while when i had a problem with surges in between shifts. Car still ran great. The idle air controller does exactly what its called. It controls the air at idle, and thats it! I would just look for a DIY kill switch walkthrough... you shouldnt even need to buy a kit.

It's not really a kit, I wasnt even expecting directions, someone here on this forum linked this guys site a couple weeks ago &I ordered one. I'm only asking because it seemed a unique place for a KS where the thieves are less likely too look or know about but I'm going to wire it into the fuel pump relay or ground or maybe the coil..
