torque converter and all that you can change out the shifter with a hurst shifter not all them will work cus you would have to change out the tranny with a sport trac but they have some that are nice. You would have to change out your tranny and housing and reprogram the comp.

the auto could win races from a stop with stall converers and such...but how much power loss comes with the automatic... i think a manual is like 10-15% loss right? how much power does my auto loose?

I ran my Stang at the track a month ago and ran a 15.5-completely stock with an AOD. The 5 speed version of my car is rated at a 15.3 but that is with someone that knows how to drive it well. In the end with, it all depends on who knows their car better and who is the better driver.

if you went 15.5 i would sell that car or just give up on driving. be aggresive with these cars and they will turn good numbers stock

don't do it man, the 4 banger T4 ain't rated for the torque and HP of the V-8 and all you will do is break it!
