Your looking at about 75 at your local machine shop to get it dipped and honed. If it needs bored it will be more of course.

if they are rusted on the sides I wouldnt use them...just buy new pistons...and when you hone the cylinders you can use stock size pistons...but since the block has to get work done to it, just take it .030 over and get matching pistons.

There is an edit button. 1700? I dont think that is gonna get you too far if you need a totally new engine and want it to hold 500HP. Plenty of people make good blocks, dart, ford racing...... check out jegs or summit
