Was the rocker arm loose? Also, is he running stud mount rockers with push rod guides? If so, he will need hardened push rods because they hit the guides often and cause wear to stock push rods... Also, a good idea would be to put some hardened pushrods in it anyway... Also might want to check valvetrain geometry, may not have the proper pushrod in there

stock heads so i think it is pedestal mount rockers.the rest of the rockerswere adjusting just fine took 3/4 of turn after 0 lash. should i do a compresion check to see if exhaust valve is bent?
