Default fuel pump

I was just wondering what aftermarket fuel pumps are good and which are bad. I want to upgrade with a higher rate of GPH than stock.
I was thinking of getting a Mallory mechanical fuel pump. are they any good or should i stick with an electrical fuel pump.
THANKS

No. You cannot use a mech pump with the efi. I have had a BBK 190lph pump for 8 years with no problems. I would reccommend a 190lph or a 255lph pump either one should support most mods a 5.0 owner does.
