thats just it, i didnt change crap, mod list is huge but its a 306 with stock bottom end, holley systemax top end, 75mm ford maf , 70mm bbk tb, 24 lb fms injectors, kn conical filter, the video below if you pay close attention you will hear it bogg out and its almost like im shifting late but im not. then again just as i shift into 4th at top end of track. both videos it cuts out in spots due to the problem. codes are show bad egr, eprom failure - whatever that means, and ego bank 2 lean and also fuel circuit something or another. vid against mustang but it sounds likev i shift late into 2 but thats really the deafd spot.

Well I guess my next question would have to be, if thats a stock type Ford MAF meter and not an aftermarket meter calibrated for your 24# injectors then what type of aftertmarket chip are you using? The reason I ask is thestock 89gt computer wouldnt work with those components unless you had a calibrated MAF or a custom chip. I'm going to guess acustom chip and if thats the case its quite possible that either your chiphas gone bad, come loose,or your stangs computer itself has developedissues. I say this only because of the multiple codes ocurring all at once, particularly the eprom failure code. Your eprom being the chip in your stangs computer that basically stores all theinformationneeded to run your engine. Also, the ego bank 2 lean code means that at some point your passenger sideExhaust Gas Oxygen or O2 sensor for short hasread a lean condition. My guess is your computer is shutting off or severly cutting backyour fuel to one or both sides of your engine when these "dead spots" occur. Now bare in mind this is all speculationand if I had the carhere I would certainlytestthings like fuel pressure and the O2 sensor as well as looked for an exhaust leak close to or before the O2 sensor in question before I did anything else. I would also pull my plugs after a run where the problemoccurred to check to see ifthey showed signs of a lean condition. Ifthe fuelpressure and the O2 sensor bothchecked out to be good and thier was no exhaust leak then I would look to the customchip or the computer itself.I would alsonot drive the car until I got this worked out, becausethis problem is causing your engine to run lean, whichcouldpotentially cause serious damage to your engine.

I don't have one. I just try my best to learn from listening to people like adder, dimebag, 94gtcoupe, etc.

Where have you been iceman? I haven't seen you on in ages.
I hope you did not sell your stang to buy that pro, it is sweet but I loved your stang [sm=chairshot.gif]

I also have lots of experience in breast implants of all shapes, sizes, substances and nationalities.

Edit: In fact, today is the 3rd birthday of my wife's "twins".

I do chassis fab, paint and body work, and engine building. My weak areas are electrical and transmissions (I would rather pay some to rebuild an auto trans). Click the link in my sig to see what I build.
