SO last week i installed energy motor mounts and tranny mount granetelli adjustable control arms and newstock upper control arm bushings(only on the diff side)...

My problem is when i let off the gas and coast the rear end feels like it clunks forward and backwards until i press the brakes... It never did this before...

Any help would be great!

Something is loose on that rear, better check it out.

 

Like what? all the control arm bolts are tight and the shocks are too...

Dude you better check that out quick. Maybe somehow youre bushing worked its way out or somethin. God forbid you made a mistake, maybe there is somethin loose.

 

okay i checked it out the bushingsin the lower control arms look fine and the bushings on the upper arms on the diff side look perfect, the only ones i cant see are the upper arm front bushings... Okay my car is an AOD and when i push the car forward it stops and bounces back (because it is in park) and the pinion angle looks like it points down when it hits park??? Maybe those upper arm front bushing since they are the only non-new ones?

 

jack the rear up and start with a pry bar check for play every place psossible.

Was this an issue before, you replaced the new parts?
My buddie's did that, found the adjustable arms,creted at an incorrect pinion angle, take your time
