Thats probaly the worst duty cycle i have ever seen on a welder. But I would have my doubts about that things performance, especially since I own a Miller 220 volt, which will do thin guage if you know what your doing.
I'd get a gas welder. A clarke welder comes with everything you need but the bottle and gas for $400. That thing is just going to make a ton of splatter thats going to be a bitch to clean up. The clarke welder also works on 110 volts.
You really don't want to use flux core on sheet metal, you will do nothing but burn holes. I have a very hard time doing it and I am a welder by trade. Plus that welder is just plaine junk, if it ever breaks good luck getting parts for it, plus if your a rookie welder it will make learning not easy. Look into the Lincolns at Home Depot, they run in the $4-500 range but it will be a tool that you can own for a lifetime.
