ENGINE WONT START IN COLD TEMP
MY 86 5.0 been sitting for a while. Just returned it to the road. But noticed on cold days wont start. engine just turn over. Next warm day it starts. Haynes book states check egr pos solenoid(passenger side fender) . I've unplugged and replugged soleniod. Car started few times in cold wheather. But not all the time. Don't want to change parts not sure of. Any direction is helpful. Tried to find a simular post no avail.

Mine had the same problem clean your iac valve (idle air control) put heet (water remover) in the tank.
and if you have changed the plugs, wires, cap and rotor in a while, you should prolly consider those too
then i would use some high grade gas and some good octane booster to clean out those injectors.

also make sure the battery is fully charged and all the connections are clean and tight to the battery and starter solenoid and starter too. run out the old gas once it gets started and get some fresh in the tank along with some fuel injector cleaner too.

RE: ENGINE WONT START IN COLD TEMP
Cleaned connections and new battery installed. Also added fuel water remover/antifreeze. Still won't fire up, just rotate. Shot intake with starting fluid she start then cut out. Won't startup until warm temp outside. Anymore suggestions????

RE: ENGINE WONT START IN COLD TEMP
I had a car once that woudnt start below 15 degrees or so unless i jumped it or had a battery charger helping it when i went to crank it up even with a new battery. How cold is it? And is the engine turning over fast enough. that was my problem just not enough CCA.
does your gas gauge work and is it above 1/4 tank,If not maybe some moisture froze in the line somewhere.
