Well, put the wheel back on, get behind there and look to see where it's hitting.

well after looking into this a little further it looks like it is hitting on the mounting bracket of the caliper.its hard to see in the pic but it is the bottom most part of the caliper in the pic.

Then like ThrashN said, you will need a spacer to push the wheel outward to clear the bracket.

Those look like sn 95 brakes. You should be able to get them to clear without a spacer. You might have to hit them with the die grinder to clearance them just a little bit.

I ran them on the front of my car for 3 years. No problems.

I have spacers on my Kragers... no problem their either. They are really nothing to worry about. When I worked at a tire shop, I've had to use spacers on several vehicles we put custom rims on... never had a problem or a complaint.

to whoever has used spacers, did you use them because of clearence issues with the caliper like i am having? also, what size should i use? and if i use a 1/2" for example this means the studs will be a 1/2" inside of the rim, will that still be ok/safe. is there still enough bite from the lug nuts to keep everything together?

OK, check the back spacing on the front wheels. The fox body needs 1.750" back spacing to clear everything. If you havemore than that you will run into problems like your having. You should be able to use a 1/4" spacer behind your wheel and be ok. Try that before you do something drastic.

Sorry.... I just checked mine and i have an 1/8" spacer behind my front wheels. It is because it hits the caliper.
