Finally got my ac working, no new parts needed. I knew it would run a little slower, but it now has detonation under high rpm, without the air on there no detonation, should I just lower my timing a bit to fix this, btw I can now set my timing, I found a pointer, just have to install it.

 

Well, why would you want to run wot w/ the ac on? Kinda pointless. I would leave it be. If I'm gonna throw down, I just shut off the ac.

no, it's not wot, it was around 3800 and up, I just wanted to check and see if everything was good. As far as parts go, I did find a loose fitting, and I guess I just did not get enough freon and oil through the system.

 

my a/c has always worked.... I just roll my windows down

 

If I had RI weather I would too, there is just to much high heat and high humidity down inGA for a daily driver, at least for me... I am originally from MI and I do like the cooler summers.
