Default cheap upgrades

Heres what im thinking for cheap upgrades on my 1991 mustang gt, let me know whatcha think.

Transgo Shift Kit
4.10gears
torque converter
upper and lower control arms + subframe connectors
cai + k&n air filter

i would like to grab these "smaller" things before i do my h/c/i. Its going to take awhile to save up for the h/c/i so i might as well upgrade some littler things heh.

thats a good start, but spend that 100-200 from that CAI on something else(bigger TB maybe?), a drop in k&n is more then fine.

Why just a shift kit? Why not a nice valve body?

As for the CAI I would say pass on it, just drop in the K&N. Spend the money elsewhere. And dont forget, with those gears you will need a nice installation kit ($100 bucks), a speedo gear ($20 bucks), gear oil ($25-45 bucks) and someone to install them unless you are doing them yourself ($200-450).

If I could start my project all over, this would behow my modifications would have progressed.

1. tranny cooler!
2. Gears (4.10's or bust)
3. Stronger tranny (shop rebuilt or crate)
4. Custom Built torque converter
5. Manual valve body
6. Torque Boxes
7. subframes
8. upper and lower control arms
etc. etc. etc.
