I would just like to start by say I have only been a member for about 3 months now and all you guys have helped alot so thank. OK I just got my347 in my car about 4 days ago FINALY and if i knew how to put a pic on my signature i would show you guy, it looks bad as hell!but my question is about all the wiring in the engine bay. I was reading a little artical and it was saying if you eliminate the ac and smog like I have you can really minamize all the cluter of the wiring or maybe loose some other connections i really dont need it can really break down to about 8 or 9 cannections and been pretty simple wire up yourself. So any one know if its true and what sites talk about it would be great.

theres no wiring involved in the smog pump "to my knowledge" and the a/c pump only has 2 wires going to it. and it comes from the main harness so i dont believe it will help much. As far as clutter goies removing the smog pump and its hoses brackets etc will clear up some space.........

ya the smog pump and a/c taken out opens a lot, but i though you could minamize a lot through eliminator kits. I dont need my egr cuz I closed up the passage on my intake. What other eliminations can i make with the factory wiring.
