but with the weight of the heads thats where it REALLY pays off to go aftermarket - plus the gains would be great power wise too.

Ford Racing Super Cobra Jet.... 1000.00 each from summit - "25-50 hp increase over the *regular* cobra jet heads"


trick flow, edelbrock, and others makes heads. just figure a h/c/i swap on a stock 460 bottom end youre looking at something in the 500-600 hp range

i don't think i would do the swap. after buying the kit with the added weight. if it was an all out drag car if would be worth it. i think for a street/strip car a 302 or 351 is the better choice
